What is a PSX26W bulb?
The PSX26W is a 26 W, 12 V automotive bulb with a PG18.5d-3 base. It’s also sold as 12278.
Is the PSX26W the same as the H1?
No. Even if they look alike, each size has a different base (PG18.5d-3 on the PSX26W) and won’t fit another size’s socket. Always buy the exact size your car takes.
Can I replace a PSX26W with an LED?
Not in a headlight designed for halogen bulbs: in the US, LED retrofit bulbs in halogen headlamp housings are not DOT / FMVSS 108 compliant for on-road use and can cause glare or issues at a state inspection. For more light, choose a high-performance halogen.
